Love Yourself Be Drug Free
By Daniel Hennessey
Ever wonder what goes on in someone's head,
When they decide to take a lot of bad meds?
You ever wonder what happens to their mind?
They will eventually fall far behind.
Do you ever wonder what loving yourself can hold?
You’ll have a happy family, til your old.
Do you know what happens when people take drugs?
They lose good friends and many family hugs.
Do you know what happens to their family they hold so dear?
They turn around and leave, or run in fear.
Is living without a father and a mother
Really worth the drugs you take with others?
Do you like what you see in the mirror?
Not doing drugs makes you free and clear.
Most people love to really live life and breathe,
However if you do drugs you will heave.
Being healthy gives you a future that's bright.
Your family and friends want to see you live to this height.
Doing drugs will make you insanely crazy,
It will make your childhood memories hazy.
Loving yourself makes you pretty cool,
But if you do drugs you’ll look like a fool.
Don’t follow bad friends into the wrong crowds.
Be who you are, be healthy, and be proud.
One day your life will be on the top shelf,
So go ahead and keep loving your self.
